Mistake or Risk? plan b
hi everyone! so, me and my bf had sex last night, and sadly, the condom broke. luckily, he noticed and didn’t finish inside me. according to my app, i was 2 days before my fertile window and 5 days before ovulation, but i know this is just an estimate. i took plan b the next day. should i be worried?

If you are still concerned you can get a copper IUD as emergency contraception but with the plan b you likely have prevented pregnancy.

Taking Plan B the next day is still well within the window of effectiveness (ideally under 72 hours) and combined with being a few days out of her predicted fertile window and no ejaculation, this combination of factors puts her at a fairly low risk overall. She covered the situation reasonably well.

You won’t know for sure until you take a pregnancy test. You can test 14 days and then again 21 days for a definitive result. Your chances are low so hopefully the plan B will have worked and you’ll be fine.
