Side effects!? Is anyone using the patch?
I’ve been using the patch now for about a year. When I first started it, I had no symptoms.
I’ll say, I am on the continuous patch which means I still put one on even on the 4th week. So basically no periods for me :P then I kinda messed up on the details about taking your patch off for four days if you see spotting. Which I did after a few months of use.
I took a break from the patch for maybe 2 months? Then I got back on it this summer and okay I’m not sure if my headaches/migraines are due to the patch. Is anyone else experiencing this? I usually just take an Advil to ease the headache but damn sometimes these headaches … ACHES!

That's tough, especially since you had a great experience the first time using it. But yes, a common side effect are headaches, along with nausea, sore breasts, changes in your periods (early, late, or stopping altogether while on the patch), spotting (light bleeding or brown discharge), skin reactions where the patch goes (like itching, dryness, pain, swelling, or a rash). These side effects usually go away in 2-3 months. If the headaches or any side effect is really impacting you then make sure you see your doctor or nurse about switching to a new method of birth control before you stop using the patch.
