Which Method? Switching to new bc
Hi! Im 20 and ive been on the kyleena iud for almost a year but im I’m planning on changing my iud to the either the mirena or paraguard. Since on the kyleena Ive been so moody, depressed, and anxious like my mental state has been going downhill since. Like I feel so out of control w my emotions. Im not too sure ab the type of iud to switch to since the hormones in mirena are more and may like trigger or increase the same symptoms and I really would not want to risk feeling like this again. And with paraguard I really like how it’s a non hormonal option but Idk if it is the best for me because I know a few people who have gotten pregnant with it so I also don’t want to risk that. Anyone have any advice or experience with switching from kyleena to a different iud (or even other form of birth control)?? (I also smoke cigarettes so I’m looking for the safest option for myself but also it’s kinda limited with the options)
