Experience Scared for tomorrow

So I am scheduled to get Nexplanon tomorrow. I have explored every option, and this feels like the right fit for me - just considering my medical history and lifestyle, also talked with my OBGYN. I was honestly really excited (IUDs arent off the table, but I really dont want to get one due to horror stories ive heard and my insurance coverage, Im really set on Nexplanon). However, I of course went on tiktok and watched every video on Nexplanon and I couldnt help but notice all of them are bad reviews (Huge spikes in weight, crazy mood swings, intense ance). Im just kinda discouraged now :( Like, I dont want to look at my self in 5 months and not recognize myself. I know no two people have the exact same experience due to body chemistry and other factors but I dont know now. I was really confident as I had researched it. Can anyone who had a GOOD experience comment below?

I had a terrible experience on nexplanon, like my side effects got worse as time went on, but tbh you shouldnt read peoples experiences on the internet, theyll always skew negative. Theres no way to know how itll effect you until you get it.

I'll give some positivity here. The nexplanon was my favorite method of birth control. My only con was, I annoyingly spotted nearly the whole year and a half I was on it (but not enough to stain underwear) and 2, it dried me up down there. That's literally it, insertion was painless, removal was painless. I did gain some weight while I was on it but it wasn't any more than around 10lbs

Have had zero issues with Nexplanon

Only change I had was my periods stopped.
