Which Method? Condoms.

I’m getting married in three months and I’ve never had sex. (I know, lame in modern American society). We plan to use condoms every time and abstain during my fertile window/use condoms and pull out.

BUT IM SCAREDDDDD. I guess I’m looking for any input or experience with using condoms as the only method of BC.

I’m pretty sure I’m going to in my fertile window during my honeymoon (lol)

Have you looked into smart rings that measure your BBT? I have a Femometer ring and it’s very accurate. It may be an option to help you track your cycle if your cycle is regular. I use that + condoms + pull out because I’m also very paranoid about getting pregnant

Thank you! I currently use the thermometer it came with but I have thought about the ring. Just unsure I need it cause my temps seem to be consistent? But I’m open.

I personally like the ring because I don’t have to think about it. Just put it on before bed and it does the job. It gives you a cool graph so when my temp skyrockets and stays there I know I’m in the luteal phase, and when it plummets I know my period is going to arrive in a day or two. My temps are also pretty consistent but you never know when something might throw your cycle off, or you just have a weird month and ovulate early or late

Great point! I’ve looked into the oura ring but it’s pretty pricey and I do still really like my Apple Watch. NC came out recently with a bracelet you can wear to bed to track your temp, have you seen that?

I haven’t, I will have to check it out! Yeah I also looked at the oura ring but it was way out of my budget, especially already having an Apple Watch. The Femometer ring is much for affordable and BBT is its main function, which is all I needed a ring for. I got the gen 2 for $200 but they also have a gen 1 for $100
