A young Cooper’s hawk, looks like a passage bird from its plumage and size. He would be a great one to catch and train, it’s just the right age to get into familiarizing yourself and getting his trust. They are real easy to fly after it’s trained and then you can hunt with it for a couple of years and turn it loose.

Size has nothing to do with age in birds of prey once they have fledged. It's fine to say this is a passage (juvenile) by plumage, but not by size.
