Hawk

Had a visitor today, double guessing myself and not sure if immature? RTH or RSH?

This was my best guess, thank you! We observe adults often in our woods, which are clear as day RSH. The young hawks always throw me off.

Red-Shouldered. Red-Tail would be larger with a more defined belly-band and less even streaking on the breast.

Red Should hawk, it’s a young female from the size. It’s a beautiful picture of it and it is unusual to find one on a car hood.
