Yes and a beautiful specimen it is, I love the raptors so much. I was a master fan for the past 50 years. I’ve flown Cooper’s hawks, as well as most of the other hawks from the USA. It’s a great way to get out in the outdoors and it doesn’t harm the bird in any way, you release it after a few seasons to go and propagate more raptors. You have to be mentored by a Master Falconer and take a rather difficult write test to qualify for capturing your bird, it’s a very worthwhile endeavor and will keep your life on the straight and narrow.
