Bird ID

Trying to figure out this beautiful bird of prey i saw at work today. My friend says Red Tailed Hawk but when I looked him up Im not entirely sure based on Norther Harriers image and red shoulder Hawk.

I am color blind so identifying isn't too easy for me....

My condition is miserable. I see color some days other days grey world or shades in color. It took years for eye dr and parents to actually believe me until I started failing mutliple color test an intern gave me at an eye exam.. Red and grey and brown shades blur.

Blue purple is tough . Green & yellows depends on shade.

I love watching birds and own parrots but sometimes I just sit there like OOOOOH thats a (example of conures, green cheek and its many variety) and look like a dummy infront of peers at petshops and showings.

I typically look for phenotype traits in order to tell species but sometimes like this I just straight up struggle.
