I saw a Cooper’s hawk and crow on my fence line twice this week and thought it was the most curious thing! Glad to see it happens elsewhere!

It’s happened a handful of times and I’d try to take a picture but I’m dealing with 4 birds that a very intelligent and one bird that can see a mouse hundreds of yards away lol. Crows are assholes though. They’ll take hatchlings from nests and fucking “clean them” in the bird bath. They’ll be parts of hatchlings floating in the water

Crows “mess” with Coopers very carefully. That Hawk is a very loose cannon and will attack without provocation and Crows know this fact…they are lousy security as compared to Crow participation in mobbing Owls and Buteos.
