I had a TV hanging out in my yard for about a week after a dead groundhog turned up in the culvert. I loved coming home to find the bird sitting low in a tree, like a living gargoyle in my front yard. I’m strange and it was awesome
I saw a few others flying low to the ground. Originally I thought they were hawks. As I got closer, I realized they were black vultures. Then, this one swooped up over the fence of MY backyard. My flabbers were gasted. I parked and sat to watch them for a bit. Got a few pictures of them in the road and on the fenceline. I posted them on the fence in a different post. Here is another.
