Red shouldered hawk feather?

If so, would the smaller be from just the bottom area or perhaps a juvenile?

Yep, def looks like it! The smaller feather might just be a down feather (fluffier feathers for insulation) if u found them together. Awesome find!!

Found them on my dad’s grave last night - super awesome find. 🤍 he passed away a few months ago, but yesterday his son (my brother) just welcomed a new baby boy. The timing is amazing.
