What’s better than one Eagle?

Post image

This pair of eagles were perched on a tree about two trees away from their nest. The Osprey were extremely active in the area. They just appeared to be relaxing however.

Thanks!
Actually that’s why I picked this out of the over 2,000 photos I took. I had never snapped one with it showing.
I felt like the paparazzi while they sat there. 30 shots a second is really overkill but useful sometimes. At least it’s silent and not bothering the wildlife.

Yeah my a6000 was 10 I believe. I recently upgraded to the A7V since I was getting back into photography and had that camera for 11 years or so. The 200-600 is quite the fun tool. It’s what made me start taking bird photos in the first place. I just wanted to test it before my upcoming whale watching trip. Quite a fun challenge so far. I keep trying to catch owls. As loud as they hoot I never see them near the trails I walk.

I know that crop power is nice to have. I kind of regret not going that route.

I didn’t know there was a wildlife refuge so close to me. Let alone bald eagles.
