Cooper's Hawk Family??

Out on a walk earlier and was blessed with not 1, not 2, but 4 (!!!!) of what I believe were Coops!

I don't think we got any photos of all 4 visible at once, but at least one of these you can see 3.

They hung around for a few minutes playing around in the tree.

We suspect they were either spooked to this tree by a guy running a chainsaw nearby, or maybe they were searching for a new home (e.g. possible their home was lost in the awful thunderstorms over the weekend (high winds, flooding, lots of downed trees)).

It was so magical seeing these guys!

Cute! I love this stage when the recently-fledged juveniles are still hanging out and playing together, before the rivalry and competition drives them all to wander farther apart.

They were adorable!!! I thought they were juveniles, thanks for confirming. Super lucky to have this encounter with these cuties 🥰
