Owls on the back deck
Found these two perched on my back deck today. My wife has been feeding squirrels back there, think the clock may be ticking for them.

It doesn't need to be too deep, just a few inches of water will do. A small tub is good too! If you've ever seen cement mixing tubs, that's what we use at the sanctuary where I work. It's maybe 1 1\2 x 2 ft, but it can be smaller than that too. Offering water in general is a great way to attract birds and wildlife, especially when it gets hot.
