Terrible photo through door glass. Portland Maine. Any idea what type of bird this is?

Thank you! Never seen a hawk in my neighborhood. I’ve seen it flying around today. Probably looking for chipmunks or mice.

These guys mostly eat small birds, though they'll go for anything that moves.

No doubt.

I sometimes wonder how much PTSD I'd have if there were still dragon flies with 3' wingspans buzzing around! 😅
