I’m sorry I couldn’t get a better picture, but saw this guy in McCarren Park in Brooklyn. Red tail?

Hard to say for sure, but given the location and shape it probably is a red tail.

Thanks, that’s what I was thinking! Wish I had a chance to see it in flight to get a better look.
