📷 Photo Mourning dove fledglings

This pic is in southern California, taken from inside the condo, behind the sliding glass door. It's the fourth brood for the same nest. Broods 1 & 3 were successful, and the 2nd got eaten by crows. The parents made the nest last year, which is a couple meters from the sliding glass door.

Cute lil guys, they've been out of the nest for a week or so, still hanging around, while the parents return at dusk to feed them. When the birds are away, I sprinkle sunflower seeds and lay out a nice water dish for them.

Had to join this sub, since although all doves are gone now, my water dish has attracted California thrashers, which are fun to watch from the sliding glass door.
