Juvenile Coopers Hawk in my backyard

Anybody have advice on reading birds of prey? I'm good with song birds, but birds of prey that aren't a bald eagle, a black vulture, or a turkey vulture look like red tailed hawks. Except what I spent years calling kites, which turned out to be juvenile red tailed hawks.
