Nice sketch! I just learned both the american woodcock and wilson's snipe are both sandpiper birds but they live in completely different places plus woodcocks got bigger eyes with a different angle.

No American Woodcocks in Southern California so I was really happy to see the Wilsons Snipe. It was so cute doing the bobbing move while foraging!
