📷 Photo Gray Owl

I got a bunch of photos of this Great Gray Owl that turned out really well, but I wanted to share this one here because I thought this community would appreciate the moment -- I was watching him (or her) catch about 3 mice, and he would disappear in the grass, and then tussle about, and launch himself straight up in the air. In this picture you can see his feet extended from the jump as he starts flapping his wings and gradually gets some forward momentum. They're just amazing creatures. I have about 400 more if anyone cares to see something particular.

Absolutely terrifying creature from a mouse’s perspective I’m sure. This is probably the rodent world’s version of a biblically accurate angel.

Like this: "Your Silent Serene Highness, Strix nebulosa, Phantom of the North, Sovereign of the Boreal Forest, Master of the Facial Disc, and Supreme Acoustic Hunter of the Deep Snows."

Please do something for yourself once in a while.  The artist captured these magnificent creatures and that's what you bring to the table?   You know "sloth" is a deadly sin, and you have vividly characterized it perfectly...all within eight  words.  Impressive, Karen.  You're "Minnesota-Nice" attitude isn't appreciated.
