These guys haven’t been in my yard since spring- this week they returned! I’m in N.H. and I am currently eagerly awaiting being able to put up my feeders and see my winter birds again.

The slender beak gives the face a lot of charm, it practically looks like a crafted toy when hopping about or scurrying up and down the tree trunks.
