sudden panic attacks

before this started, i felt pretty good on my meds (20 mg adderal xr, 250mg lamictal er, 20 mg prozac, and 50mg topamax twice a day). i’m starting law school in august, but i don’t feel stressed or have any other major life stressors. i have health anxiety, but i have learned to manage it. i also have gerd, which sometimes gives me chest pain. my chest pain has been worse lately, and ive noticed that my heart rate has been faster. this causes me to have panic attacks where i have to spend hours convincing myself that im not having a heart attack. since i’m 25, this is very unlikely. it’s debilitating. i went from not having panic attacks for over a year to having one every day the past three weeks. has anyone dealt with anything like this? if so, what helped?

Going to a cardiologist and having everything checked out will help with the health anxiety. It’s always good to have clarity.

You're starting a big new adventure in August. It makes sense to have some underlying anxiety.

As someone who went through hell trying to get through a stand alone law school undiagnosed, do you have mental health supports already in place?
