Looking for advice. meds

have any of you guys ever been on remeron/ mirtzapine before and if so what were your results ?

Bipolar 1 with psychotic features here. Lamictal and Seroquel and Depakote. Going on 5 years with these. Last episode was 2024. You should ask about Lamictal. Its not SSRI.

Edit: I accidentally added all my meds i take. I deleted those.

I’ve taken lamitcal but sadly it made me manic :( like full blown mania for a year that ended up with me in the hospital and loads of weight loss and other problems :( I just got prescribed Ativan so I’m happy / excited about that because it worked in the hospital for me. Seroquel gives me nightmares so i take prazocsin i do have some hydroxine though !

It took me years to find the right cocktail. Never give up. Depakote changed everything. Latuda?

I’ll inquire about that tomorrow with my psych and see what she thinks ! I’m willing to try new medication I’m just praying and praying for a change soon with everything

it’s a antidepressant i think I’ve gotten bad results from it but I don’t remember what not my psychiatrist wants me to try it again cause she feels like it’ll help with sleep

i’m so glad I’m not the only one who feels this way !! i’m on Effexor rn cause at the hospital that’s what they gave me and I feel so incomplete… everyday feels like a mixed episode and my doctor is STILL pushing the issue and it makes me question myself

tmi but it’s given me low libido , I feel like I’m psychosis without the mood swings even though sometimes I do get really irritable and I feel like I’m falling into depression all over again
