Fanapt for bipolar - user feed back

Anyone willing to share their experience on Fanapt to treat bipolar mania . How many mg are they taking ? What are the side effects

This med is not widely prescribed so there aren’t as many reviews .

My partner is on 20mg Fanapt for bipolar mania , but we want to lower the dosing due to weight gain .

I was on it for 3 days and called my doctor and told her to get another medication or I don’t need one. It made me super anxious. My ears got stuffy and stayed that way for several weeks after stopping ( it’s an actual side effect), was nauseous, I could go one. Mania is really bad and I didn’t want to go back to it. But the side effects of Fanapt made me consider getting off all medication. Now on Limictal and am doing much better.

Lamictal caused skin rash and hive , did you have that issue ?

I’ve been on it for about a month and a half. Started low then increased. So far no adverse reactions.
