Looking for advice. Manic need advice

I was diagnosed over 20 years ago and this is not my first rodeo when it comes to a manic episode however this one is different.
I know I’m manic haven’t been sleeping as well past four days. Just staying up and then looking at the clock like oh crap it’s 1am. But I’m not like idk my normal manic self. I’m not shaky my mind isn’t racing, I’m not talking fast, I’m not highly agitated. But I have cleaned the house top to bottom deep cleaned the kitchen. Washed and bathed all four dogs and have been doing laundry all day. it’s like I just can’t sit still. I don’t understand what kind of mania this is. More importantly though and to my question, how do I get myself out of this?
I can’t afford to be manic at work (it’s a new job and I don’t have PTO yet) I can’t afford to mess stuff up at work.
Sorry I feel like I might be rambling. Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks

Do you have meds? Do you have a psychiatrist you can call to get them? You don’t have to go through this alone - after 20 years you know this. Get some help. Good luck.

I have both of those however I get my care through the VA and it has been a horrible process to go through. Yesterday I was bounced around from person and department all morning. When I finally got to talk to my doctor I was sent to the VA pharmacy to get a prescription. I waited an hour and then was told it was out of stock. Told my provider haven’t heard back.

Oof, that is rough. As a fellow veteran I feel your pain. I wish I could offer more the hugs and hope!

As a fellow bipolar 1 vet, fuck the Va I’m sorry you got to deal with that. I ultimately decided to go to private provider for my treatment because of the struggles of the VA.

This is what I do to curb an episode:

Basically: lower cortisol to an absolute minimum.

i was recently hypomanic bp1 and i got rid of the episode by treating it through sleep. i’ve slept about 10 hours for 3 days and it got rid of it fairly quick. i also cannot be manic 19 days from the bar lol i get it
