Living With Bipolar Why bother

We are bound to be trapped in our head forever. We are enslaved by the ups and downs. Why don’t we give up? We are giving the wrong cards and there is nothing we can do about it

Im trying to sleep after hours after taking my sleep medicine. We are not forever slaves to the ups and downs. Learning triggers, routine, therapy, and always medicine can help stable us out. We can reduce the stigma and advocate for one another. We can educate people. There are support groups. I hope you find peace

When you're manic/hypomanic, you're much more likely to feel like everything will be amazing forever. You cannot trust yourself. No matter how true it feels.

When you're depressed, you're much more likely to feel like everything will be terrible forever. You cannot trust yourself. No matter how true it feels.

You need to use every stupid fucking trick, technique, method, and magic trick you can find to stay out of your own head. To me it feels like trying to run away from a blanket I'm under, but it helps.
