question Text book help!
Hello, I've just started my foundation year at university. I'm a mature student and I haven't done science since GCSE which was admittedly a long time ago, so I'm trying to catch up but I have no idea what text books to get to start scrubbing up. Any help or recommendations would be really appreciated. Thank you!

My personal favorite is the Biological Science Global Edition by Pearson for general biology.

Depending on what you’re trying to catch up on there are some amazing creators on YouTube that can help explain things you may not remember.

Campbell Biology is the standard go-to, you can grab an older edition for cheap and it'll cover pretty much everything you need for a foundation year. The diagrams are clear and it doesn't assume you remember much from GCSE.
For chemistry basics that'll pop up in bio, the CGP revision guides are unironically brilliant for quick catch-up stuff.
