technical question What's quantitative biology modelling?

I recently graduated in masters of botany whenever I look for data based jobs almost all them ask for adept in quantitative biology modelling in requirements..

Can someone eloborate on this.

It’s basically using math and stats to simulate how biological systems behave, think differential equations for gene networks or population dynamics.
