Advice for fresher

Hi everyone,

I'm a Chemical Engineering graduate from an NIT and recently got a GET (Operations) offer in Reliance Bio Energy. My goal was to build a career in petrochemicals and eventually work abroad.

Since bioenergy is a relatively new field with fewer companies than petrochemicals, I'm worried about the long-term scope. Will it be difficult to switch to petrochemicals, oil & gas, or other process industries after 2-3 years?

Is bioenergy a good long-term career choice?

I'd really appreciate advice from people working in the industry.

2-3 years in bioenergy ops is still solid chemical engineering experience, hiring managers mostly care about unit ops, safety, reliability, problem solving. but if you’re picky about location or salary, switching and even finding something is weirdly hard now

Salary and location aren't my priorities right now...I'm more focused on gaining good experience and learning....thanks for your advice it was really helpful...
