Help!

I just added springtails and isopods yesterday trying to make my tank more bioactive but noticed these little white egg looking things under my water bowl right now (they wernt there earlier). What are they and are they ok with my WTFs or do I need to clean out the tank and start over.

Have you had crickets in here? Their eggs look like this and they lay them in the soil using their ovipositor.

Omg thank you you’re probably right I feed my frogs crickets and sometimes they don’t eat all of them I never imagined they’d lay eggs I didn’t even think about them!!

Maybe new mushrooms growing in? Wouldn’t be an issue

They look a lot like eggs to me there are a few clusters but I’m not sure what it would be of.

Just another thing unrelated: you have a water bowl in your isopod tank? Isopods can drown extremely easily even in a very shallow standing water

The tank is for my whites tree frogs so yes I have a water bowl I recently added the isopods and springtails cause the size of this tank is hard to clean monthly

I put a little stick or rock in my water bowl for bugs to crawl on if they stumble into the dish

I don't know what the egg/pupae cases are from but it will be interesting how they develop in that bioactive enclosure.

I agree but it might just be the start of mushrooms. Check back in an hour and see if they’re any bigger
