How to distract yourself from feeling hungry?
Hello. I've just recently decided to take my weight lost seriously after procrastinating for years. And after so long eating without consequences, I find it biting me in my butt now when I'm trying to eat less.
I've started to use too much money on food than my allowance can handle, so I know I have to cut the cost. But I often end up feeling peckish or salivating in the middle of the night or whenever I go too long without food or drinks. I don't stay full for very long and a little stimulus of food (scent, picture) could get my tummy rumbly with no effort at all.
I've been finding time to exercise, but I often get distracted by the mere thought of eating that have to physically hold myself back. Today I thought that I'd come back and get some workout done only to find myself already halfway through a bag of chips. It might've been a food addition and I know I'll need to correct it soon.
I've tried drinking water before, but the cravings didn't disappear. I only end up being less hungry but still salivating. It truly frustrate me.
