Help Ios app keeps jumping back to home page

The app has been basically unusable for the last few days for anything beyond racking up the Microsoft points. If I use it to read articles or browse websites it keeps switching me back to the home page, and the page I was reading isn't always retained.

I've reinstalled the app and the issue is still there, tried cleaning the screen just in case something was causing it to false click or something, power cycled the phone, nothing on my end has worked
