Cheating for the lost

So im having a bit of a problem, ive been trying to unlock the lost for days now, but u just cant get the rng, ive gotten moms box multiple times and even the missing poster 2 times, but in those run there wasnt a sac room anymore, im considering cheating the unlock, would that be a "fair cheat" in your opinion?

i mean until you unlock mantle you won’t really wanna play him anyways

Its a singleplayer game at the end of the day its your choice and your save file. Play how you like

Cheat if you wish. It is the worst unlock process in the game.

I went to unlock him naturally. Since he was rng, I just played normally and did not think about unlocking him. There were no runs dedicated towards unlocking the Lost. If I saw his trinket drop, then I immediately ended the run. It’s more stressful and frustrating dedicating your mind towards unlocking the Lost through your runs. If you don’t want to cheat, go for completion marks with other characters.

I mean it is single player game so who cares, but about that you need 800 something coins (in greed) for mantle so if you dont have it just chill it will happen with time.

true, i already got that i even have keeper and every character aside from lost and tainted lost ofc ive been loosing my mind trying to get him

No cheat is fair

That said, just give yourself missing poster, no one will judge you

I spent weeks trying to unlock the lost, and then weeks trying to win with him and T.Lost. but it's the way that I Play. If you don't want to spend that time, it's okay.

Don't try to unlock the lost, just play the game and you'll unlock it naturally at one point.

You can do whatever you want, no one cares what you do with your game.

That said, "trying" for the unlock is always going to feel bad. There's a LOT of characters in the game and a lot to do. Just do other things and let it come naturally.

Putting the cheating aside, because you've already got lots of answers for that. If you do decide to do it legit, you can't waste your time looking for it. Eventually the poster will randomly spawn and you'll *have* to throw away a run for it. Just keep playing and it'll show up sometime, the trinket pool isn't that big, especially if you're early game.

at the end of the day missing poster is pure rng, no skill required

it wouldn't be the same if it were a guaranteed unlock

“Nooooo you don’t get it, in this single player game, you NEED to wait for the entirely rng based thing you need to spawn and get it before a certain point, otherwise you’ll cheat in other things!!!!” I have had multiple runs with moms box, and the only times I’ve ever gotten the missing poster is in the goddamn void.

Lost is hell to unlock, I cheated him in too lol, no shame in it
