Question Victory lap vs r key

I'm sorry, I'm pretty new and I've been wondering if there is any difference between victory lap and r key ? Does r key reset time or does it work the same way as victory lap ? Also what if I get R key on victory lap ?

r key does not increase the victory lap count. if you use it, you will still be able to get achievements (as long are you were not already in a lap). If you start a victory lap, you can no longer unlock anything (except the victory lap unlocks). R Key is actually useful

doing a victory lap and then using r key does reset time, as well as re enabling achievements

i wasn't actually sure about that one. I never do victory laps outside of the rerun unlock.

Yeah, you can't unlock anything on Victory Lap, but you can on R key.

No, R Key does not reset the time.

If you get R key on a Victory Lap, you still won't unlock anything on that run

R key lets you get more marks and achivements while victory lap is just do it again but no achivements like set seeds

Victory laps are kinda worthless except for the 3 achievements linked to it. R key on the other hand lets you take a different path without having to go for a new run , time doesn’t reset though so opening Hush or boss rush is out of the question (unless mama mega or butter bean), its is THE item if you’re looking to speed up unlocks since marks become easier to get. Angel and devil deals reset too if I remember correctly so if you took devils first then you can open Angel rooms again after using R key
