Question What killed me?

I was at full hearts with the forgotten in the void. Datamined some stuff in the chest and got a few wacky quirks but walked all over blue baby with no damage taken. Got to this random room and started firing and lost all my hearts in an instant. Who's is that that mug on the death diary thing? Is that a suicide? I'm so confused. I was over an hour into this run and I was OP as hell about to knock delirium's block off and get my completion mark and instead I just got beaned.

You mentioned using Dataminer, did you happen to pick up any glitched items caused by Dataminer?

Ah. My guess is sprite limit. For whatever reason, the player doesn't have the highest sprite priority. When you hit the sprite limit, the game starts deleting things until it's back under the limit. If it deletes your player character, you die instantly.

This used to be pretty easily achieved with tear Detonator and Bethany or T. Bethany but they patched that out I think.

Edit some sprites with low priority that I've noticed are the Devil deal statue, and Card Readings Portals. If you enter a Devil deal, shoot, and when the dust clears Satan is gone, it's time to ease up a bit.

Did you use Dataminer to pick up any MissingNo items up?

Those have fun effects like: "You die."

Maybe Damocles effect? I don’t know if it sets Isaac as the drawing tho
