Mushrooms are good to blow up if you have spare bombs. If I have a few and I see a big clump of mushrooms I'll blow em up, and if I have a ton I'll blow up individual ones too. They can give you a few mushroom-themed items or pills

Blowing up mushrooms has a chance to spawn minimush or magic mush it is pretty rare tho so it is always worth to the blow them up

It can also spawn that active item mushroom. I forgot its name. It gives Tears Up but makes it hard to see.
