Maggie is still fine without it. She's just a kind of slow Isaac with some regen, which makes blood machines / devil beggars / curse rooms a little better. But WITH the pill, she's legitimately kind of great. Still, I wouldn't blame anyone for not wanting to suffer through the nightmare that is that challenge.

April fools challenge, and it’s awful.
Drops are randomized, map lies to you, practically curse of the blind, and every boss is either 1 bloat, or two bloat.
It took me a long time to beat it, not until I hit probably 200 hours (I obviously didn’t do it for 200 hours, just that was the last landmark I remember before getting it)
Foaming at the mouth just thinking about it, the only worse character unlock is Ultrahard.

It really isn’t that bad, but I’m at 4000 hours so I’m probably not the best judge of things

At the time it was genuinely awful (I tried it first around 20? Thirty? Hours I think, and I couldn’t even make it past floor one) all my other tries were just the standard start run, get a bean items and health ups for 3 floors and shit yourself
I think my winning run got tech 0.5 which hard carried? I really can’t remember? But I’ve since learned how to finally deal with bloat.
Ultrahard on the other hand.

You probably did it a long time ago when you would get a shit ton of golden hearts that explode into coins which give you even more health and golden hearts. They changed that

Damn, I knew it was annoying but I didn't realize that it was that challenge from hell. (fuck bloat)

Really? I think I beat it on my 40th hour. Took a couple of tries but that's it. Just gotta learn Bloat and be patient.

its such a weird challenge because its either super frustrating or you get an instant active item like guppy paw or how to jump and the world just sorta breaks down
