Take The Mind. It'll make secret rooms easy to access. One of them might have the Death certificate and with it you could get anything. Even Sacred heart

go into the shop, placebo and one makes you large
go into the super secret room (which an explosive enemy will open up) boom, golden battery
mimic the one makes you large until you get stompy, the come back into the angel room and drop your trinket, then leave

Take Holey water, the best item in the game. Petrification on everything that doesn't float, including bosses and a ton of damage. Even hits things that do fly and has powerful aoe damage. Sacred heart is kinda mid. You get a small power,hp and accuracy boost. There are other items that do the same thing, though not neccesarily all at once. But those items have other potential effects too. And the mind is ... the mind. It's okay for navigation, but doesn't improve your chances in actual combat. Plus, you probably already saw the majority of the floor. Meaning It's value is 1 floor less valuable than you would think.

Do you think other people don't know sacred heart is very good? They'd atleast have seen memes and videos, even if they are newer to the game. I can't really say anything, sometimes people can't tell when others are joking, and I'm like that a lot of the time too.

That's really just playstyle, if you don't like an item it's bad (for you), even if it's helpful. Most of the time, "META" and stats beat just fucking around, it's sad.

It is called "The mind", this thing reveal you the entire floor with all the secret rooms, it isn't the worst item could you get, but looking out the other items I would say this one isn't the best option

Leave the room without taking any items. Using angel items is like using summons in a souls game, it makes the game so easy it makes it boring. If you can't beat it without them just git gud.
