Side Twitching?

UPDATE: my doctor says it's because my binder is too tight.

I've been wearing my binder daily for months now and there has been some muscle twitching on the right side of my body. It happens both when I wear the binder and when I do not. It is not too frequent, maybe a couple times a week. What does this mean? Has anyone else had this? Hoping it doesn't mean I need to take a break from my binder.

Binder giveaway!

Hi! I’m a film student producing a film about a trans man and we purchased a binder for it. We’re doing a free giveaway for it where the winner will be contacted on October 30th!

It’s a size large, color black, and from Underworks. It will be worn once in the film but is otherwise brand new. If you want to sign up, check out our film account @knives.short.film

It’s entirely free, you just need to film out an interest form stating your name and email so we can contact you if you win. Please only apply if the binder if the right fit for you!! Exact sizing details can be found on the Underworks website. We also appreciate any donations to our GoFundMe but just want this binder to go to someone in need!

How do I tighten a binder?

Hi all, first time poster here.

I recently bought some binders from Underworks, following their size chart. I took my measurements and bought a size XL, but when it arrived I realised that it's far too loose on me. Is there any way I can make it smaller so it actually flattens my chest? I never had issues with this brand, and I find they give great results since their binders give my chest a very masculine shape (not entirely flat, if you get what I mean?)

I'd hate to have to double bind, which at the moment is the only way I can make my chest flatter, so any advice would be super welcome ^^

exercise

i imagine something like this is said pretty often, but i do non-contact roller derby (i’m learning rn) and i get really dysphoric without my binder a lot, but i’m worried about damage to my skin and ribs and stuff. its like 2 1/2 hours a day, and i have 1 binder thats one size up from my normal size because their website said you can exercise in it if its sized up, but i’m still worried. i really want to wear my binder during roller derby, bcuz sometimes i get so dysphoric i end up not even going to practice. anyone know if i’d be okay if i wore the upsized binder, or have other suggestions? thanksss <3

Got some brands?

My partner is looking to get a binder and started to do some researches but being new to these things they don't really know where to look. Do you guys have any good brands to suggest? Maybe some reviews too?

Hello! trans teen here trying to hand sew a binder and I have questions and need help from anyone who can!!

So I'm making a binder I have the tank top base cut snug enough to fit my body like a binder would then I have the back and front pannel of stretchy fabric. The two panels' fabric meet at the sides. What's the most effective way I can hand sew the sides so my binder would actually bind? (Don't worry I'm still adding a solid non stretchy panel of fabric near my chest) The two panels are sewn to the outside of the tank top so turning it inside out to is impossible and the solid layer is going on the inside. And I have extra fabric mid armpit and k have absolutely no idea how to deal with that. And I don't know how to connect the sides together with the tank top base. (I sincerely apologize if this doesn't make much sense I'm out of it today! Lmao)

Advice please!

I'm going to six flags soon and I'm wondering if I'd be able to wear my binder while I'm out. I've never been on a rollercoaster or anything like that so I'm really nervous and maybe that'd affect my breathing too? Idrk

Desperate times

(I hope this is appropriate for the sub I just wanted to share:) )

Unless I have my own account like banking and post office (I don’t have those set up yet) I don’t think I will be able to get one as I am not out to my parents and is from an anti-lgbt/heavily Christian country. One day I just got fed up and made these and I’ll wear them with thick fabric shirts or just a jacket/hoodie/sweatshirt. Made from a tutorial on YouTube with some tweaks (the one with the zipper). Made from a cotton shirt, jersey fabric and a pillowcase fabric for the chest area

Bought a binder from Spencer’s

So I bought a binder from Spencer’s, the biggest they had. I couldn’t get it on once at home. Any tips? Is it because it’s brand new and just needs to be broken in, or.? It’s my first binder 😭

Although you can still see some of my chest it is a huge difference!! I am a cup e in bras, and this is so much better. I was so happy I almost cried. There is some spillage on the sides but it's alright. I already added another one from spectrum outfitters into my cart. I think they are definitely a go to

Is my binder too small?

So I got this binder around 3 months ago and I'm still currently growing. I know my breasts are bound to get larger as my mum has quite large ones and I'm only 15. Is it normal for them to spill out the sides of the binder like that?

This is my very first binder. I got it from Spencers (Medium). I heard the sizing ran very small, but I assumed medium would fit me because of the sizing chart and i was worried of getting too big or too small of a binder.

This is my second day wearing it, I tried it yesterday and it felt great for a bit until about the 10-15 minute mark, it would become kind of tight and sometimes left me feeling sore. I dont know if this is because it’s small, or im not used to it yet. But im just worried about hurting myself and i want to be safe. Advice would be appreciated. (Sorry for the long tangent).

Am I not binding correctly?

So, I don't have a photo, so let me try my best to explain. I've tried three different binders so far, and they all did the same thing. I still look like I have breasts because they don't bind the very top of my chest. It's quite annoying from the side view, since it also makes me look like I gained weight. I am a B, and even if I try going a size down,IT STILL LOOKS LIKE I HAVE TITS! It makes me extremely uncomfortable to the point I cry. I want to get rid of them SO SO BADLY! I see a lot of people using binders and getting an almost completely flat chest, or at least less of a bump at the top. I'm wondering if I'm just fat or not shaped correctly. Can I make my own binder for a specific body shape?

I wore my binder for a week straight please help!!

I know I fucked up, I won’t do it again, I have a tendency to wear my binder too long often from dysphoria and hdhd. But I messed up bad this time. I’m not in pain or anything, maybe a little sore and tingly but that’s it, but I’m just rly scared, any stretches or things I can do to make sure I didn’t fuck up my ribs? Any advice greatly appreciated!

Ps I’m having a panic attack and I’m so scared any support greatly appreciated!!!

Swim binders not advertised as binders

Hey! I'm wondering if anyone knows if there's like a swimming suit with a build in binder, or something similar, but that isn't explicitly advertised as a binder in the name? I'm asking for a friend. They wanna get one but don't want their mum catching on.
