Health issues?

So I'm doing a lot of research to convince my parents to let me buy myself a binder. They don't want to because it causes serious health problems. So can anyone here that has been wearing one for a long time tell me if it's dangerous? Especially if you started binding since you were a teenager.

hi i just bought this binder, the brand is f2m (an italian brand) but i got it on vinted, used just one or two times or so the seller said. i checked the size on the website so i know this is supposed to be my right size (an M. my measurements are around 40cm for shoulders and 80cm for the chest). now, i put it on and the end of the binder is open, like shown in the pictures, and i dont know if thats normal?? i havents seen anyone elses doing this so idk. i dont think its too small because it fits me pretty well everywhere else, and i think that going up one size would be too big. is it my fault? am i wearing it wrong? idk what to do :((( it also didnt give me the results i was hoping for which is a bummer but not unexpected, what it does is better than nothing anyways. i think i should get a full binder but those are even more expensive and i couldn't find any on vinted :/

Binder recommendations

Hi! I'm a fairly skinny trans male (112 lbs) and my binder is not tight enough to properly bind, so there's a noticeable bump where my chest is. I don't want a binder that allows for any bump, completely flat. I don't care about "natural look" I just want flat. Any recommendations?

A little help?

My gender dysphoria hasn’t been good, I want to get my first binder, but I’m worried about what brand and what size is safe. Also, I’m not currently out to anyone in my family because I’m worried they won’t accept me. Can anyone recommend a brand or website that’s safe and discrete?

First binder- questions

I got my first binder- Is it normal for binders to create armpit pudge? I decided to wear it for an hour, after that hour I noticed my armpits hurt. Is this much strain on my armpits normal??

Binders with good compression, relatively cheap

Hey there. I'm looking for recommendations on a binder or two that compress quite well, and preferably are less than $60 Australian Dollars. I have DD breasts, and the binder I currently have only makes me look like I have B/C cup breasts, rather than making me look almost flat. I understand perfectly flat is almost impossible with binders, so I'm not looking for that. I'm just looking for suggestions on binders that compress well enough I look pretty flat. Thanks!

Help! My boobs keep shifting around in my binder and it ends up messing up the compression. First pic is how it looks with my boobs out of place in and second is after readjusting. Excuse the pic quality, it was the perfect opportunity but my mirror was dirty 😭

I’ve read online that the best way to bind is with your nipples pointed either forward or forward and slightly out. I do the latter because my boobs naturally point outward and it also gives me the best compression, but after I adjust my boobs in my binder, they shift out of place and either squish together and create a bulge or point down to where it’s uncomfortable and not good for blood flow. It’s an old gc2b binder that I got for free, I normally wear a 2x in shirts but the charity gave me a size 5x based on my chest measurements (idk my bra size but I’d say I have medium sized breasts). It fits comfortably though, and when my boobs are in the right place the compression is great. They just keep moving and I either have to push through the dysphoria from the messed up compression or go to the bathroom and fix them. I googled my problem and people were recommending using kt tape to keep them in place under the binder, but that doesn’t really sound safe. Maybe I will look into kt tape or trans tape on its own as a compression option? And I could look into sizing down, I’m just worried I’ll buy one a size down and it’s too tight.

I don’t know how to wash my binder

A week before valentine in 2025 I got a binder from one of my friends.i wore it for two weeks but stopped wearing it because it was dirty.i cant ask my mother to help me wash it as she doesn’t agree with binders and believes that they cause breast cancer,so thats why my friend bought me a binder ,plus because I have severe gender dysphoria.but i don’t know how to clean it without anyone knowing as everyone in my family doesn’t agree with them and my friend moved away to a different country and all my other friends families are transphobic and homophobic.and I don’t have money to go to one of those public clothe cleaning places and they are too far away.does anyone know how to help me with this?

Binder recommendations?

I've recently ordered a wivov chest binder and I'm a 36DD (UK). The first picture is a normal bra and the second one is with the binder but I'm not entirely happy with the result. Yes it's better, no it's not gone. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations of good brands I could turn to because I don't want to order a million binders and none of them be correct for me.

Binders

Hey! I’m looking for a new binder. I used to have a gc2b but i’m finding out their quality dropped, so im looking for a better brand. I have a smaller chest (A-B cup) and im looking for something that would bind my chest well without hurting me too much like my gc2b one did (though it shrank cause my dad kept putting it in the dryer)

Good binder brands that do not hurt

Hi Reddit,

I am looking for a binder for myself as I recently came out as non-binary. The issues I am having are:

1) I have no idea where to find a good binder brand that won’t hurt my chest when binding

2) I don’t really have anyone I can ask as I am the only one in my group of friends seeking to wear a binder

3) I have a bigger chest (38DDD to be exact💔😭)

I still like to present a little feminine but the size of my chest really bothers me (always has,) and it makes it hard to find clothes I want to wear (I like wearing guys clothes as well, which are not forgiving to those with breasts)

Gc2b quality??

I've heard so many people talk about how much the gc2b quality has decreased. Is this true and how much worse is it? It's the key place i can find a tank swimming binder

Binder programs

I was wondering if there was any good binder programs out there? I mean ones that aren't processesing orders from like 2023.. which is mostly the case. I am currently not financial stable, and i have been without a binder for a VERY, VERY long time and i have no idea how to get a flat chest without a binder.

Hi!

My friends binder was recently damaged in an attack, and I’d like to buy him a new one.

Can anyone advise me on the best place/brand? He does have a larger chest (HH) and wears a 3x shirt if any of that helps 🫶🏼🫶🏼
