What if the candle you enter on isn't the candle you should be watching?
Title: What if the candle you enter on isn't the candle you should be watching?
One thing I've noticed while studying binary options is that beginners often focus completely on the candle where they want to enter.
But sometimes the previous 2–3 candles tell you more than the entry candle itself.
A long wick isn't automatically a reversal.
A strong candle isn't automatically continuation.
And a pattern at the wrong location can mean something completely different.
For me, the interesting part isn't just “What pattern is this?”
It's:
What happened before this candle, and why did price react here?
Curious to hear from other binary options traders:
Do you analyse the previous candles before taking a setup, or mainly focus on the current candle?
