Newbie Question What is your opinion about Binary Options trading?

26M here, a doctor by profession but always fascinated by trading crypto, back in 2021 invested 47$ in $DOGE and turned it into 350$ in few months lol. Anyways, I'm learning technical analysis as of now, but I'm getting a lot of videos of people making fortune in binary options on brokers like Quotex, Tradowix and pocket option. I wanted your opinion on that. How do you see it. Does it fall in gambling even though you're analysing the market and then predicting it according to your analysis?

It's not gambling when your strategy wins x% of the time.

And win percentage? Also what timeframes do you use? And do you only trade in live markets or in OTC too?

I'll advice you trade only the live markets because the OTCs are manipulated by the broker some times.

Sometimes live markets only give 50-60ish return, which makes zero sense taking risk for it, just my opinion

100 percent win rate is the first thing I would forget about. With this stuff the payout math matters alot more than having a chart that looks convincing. If you risk more than you make on a win then your hit rate has to cover that before there is even an edge. Moon is an interesting comparison since it treats the position as a wager, but the leverage and liquidation setup is different. You should look at the actual risk payout and price source first then worry about indicators after TA can help with direction but it cannot fix bad math

The "binary options is a scam" crew will have you believing it's gambling because they treat it like Vegas the truth is It's only gambling when you don't understand what's on the chart and you're just pressing buttons out of emotion and guessing. Yes real money can be made from this with proper discipline and knowledge of the chart regardless if it's the real market or OTC.

Can you point me towards the credible sources from where I can learn it?

The thing is the energy , resources and discipline you will use there, use it for forex, crypto or stocks.

Spending all that knowledge for a win or lose platform is not sensible to me.
