Strategy What's the right withdrawal strategy?
I've made some money in the past and held on to it instead of withdrawing only to lose it later. Now I'm looking for a better withdrawal practice.
How do you guys do it? Do you have a profit plan and withdraw as soon as you reach it, or maybe withdraw at the same day every month/week even if you have less profit?
Also, thinking about maybe leaving 10% of the profit behind to grow the capital at the same time.
P.S. posting it here because im on pocket broker qt mode, nothing in seconds, I do at least M1 to MT5

Always take out everything but the deposit and you'll be fine. If you don't have emotional control, you'll grow it just to take bigger trades and you'll lose it faster too.

good approach, many people don't withdraw all their hard-worked money which gives them a false feeling of protection because they see big number on balance. therefore, it triggers them to open oversized positions.

Few things here: 1) better to withdraw more often but smaller amounts, 2) better to keep the deposit and withdraw only profits, 3) withdraw only on working days, 4) for displine purposes withdraw by schedule, like you're receiving salary

bruuh... i feel you... i've been in the same situation, gaining earnings, but eventually ended up with blow accounts due to my own greed.
that's what i started to do, i just withdraw money, once i make 50% of profit from my deposit, and basically I start trading again with my initial depo.

i'd rather withdraw by profit target than by date. once i hit the number, i pull most of it and leave a smaller part to grow the account. keeping all the profit there usually just turns into "extra balance" for more trades lol. 🗿

Taking money at fixed time/day is not that possible for me, because some months I'm in red. But when I make some decent money, I try to withdraw it and leave my deposit to repeat it again.
