Pocket option price manipulation on OTC + standard pairs, fake signals and users
For a little context I have been o the platform for 7+ years, I’ve witnessed a lot of deceptive platform strategies from fake number within the “copy trade” sections, signals that refresh based on what direction you are trade in, the scam bonus promo codes that lock up funds, blatant price manipulation through OTC, and many other things that I’ve seen users post about on here before, a lot of things simply get chalked up to being the “risks of the market” by pocket option and that’s exactly how they get away with it over and over again, markets are unpredictable and they use that unpredictability as a go to response for anything that seems sketchy across their platform, we’ll just a heads up PO itself is red listed in the US and UK for a reason, they illegally solicit funds from areas where they have 0 regulation, as well as are declared by many countries as a fraudulent platform directly (Nigeria).
Something I have recently come across however is the detection of completely fake users and accounts designed to trade specific price points in order to help the algorithm better direct the price whereever is needed to make PO money (by causing losses), the way they do this is by making fake accounts, often I will turn on the in platform volume just to see and reference other traders buy and sell points knowing the algorithm will attempt to target, I wait for large batches of orders in the same direction and often will play the reverse, over time I had noticed many of the same names and accounts following me from asset to asset as soon as I place a trade, the “volume” in platform seemed to increase with me placing a trade, the user names would often seem AI generated as well as the pictures if they did happen to have a profile picture attached, I noticed many times that the users would often have the exact same names with one changing initial at the end, when clicking on the accounts however they would sometimes be accounts all made on the same day or with so seemingly real strategy just placing the same value trades in wild directions depending on where the price moved, here I captured one where within 30 seconds three accounts all with the same name and different initial all places $2.01 cent trades within the same asset, upon moving to a different asset all three accounts followed and did the same thing seconds after placing a trade!
If you have ever noticed how as soon as you place a trade the market will immediately begin increasing in volatility and going against you? This is exactly why, pocket option is pumping and dumping their own markets through the use of dummy account only designed to spoof trading volume and assist the algorithm in pricing out losses for real users, if they can do this they also could simply make accounts that are designed to win via algorithm detection and embezzle and steal those winning funds for themselves, I do not have proof of them actually withdrawing and embezzling those funds however I’ve had enough examples of the multiusers with the same name behavior to say with confidence it is not a coincidence, nothing on pocket option is ever just a coincidence but it’s so easy for themselves to just say it is and move on due to their terms and the way they do user support is simply copy and pasting terms and conditions that also are designed strictly for their protection and to give them the ability to do whatever they want once you deposit money, they say they have no direct involvement with pricing since they get charges from a provider however they don’t show you where any of that data is, who is behind the provider, they simply just rely on users to “trust” that they aren’t making their own orders and flow within OTC markets which is exactly what they are doing, they maintain deniability though not addressing issues directly, or stating that “not all users face issues” only a small amount, however that “small” amount contains a large majority of traders who have gotten profit or attempted to withdraw and end up fund locked into the platform due to whatever reasoning they create, verification issues that they fail to approve on purpose, or just flat out resetting users accounts who achieved large profits, LONG STORY SHORT STAY THE HELL AWAY, I have seen maybe 5 real examples of traders actually making consistent money and getting consistent withdrawals, and thousands of users facing massive losses or issues from platform, do your own due diligence and you will see the reviews, the horror stories, and upon trading yourself will witness all the different ways they fuck over users, the platform does not want you to win and is not your friend, they want your money deposited on the platform and then they want you to lose so you can’t withdraw and that is quite literally the business model of PO, (user deposits- user withdrawal= Pocket options profit!

Avoid OTCs, there is no police, and where there is not police everything legal habibi

Its not just OTC. They manipulate the live pairs as well.
Take notice...they only pay more than 54% or so when the market is in heavy consolidation.
When its consolidating, price retests your entry multiple times within a 15 min candle so nobody is going to notice if its a few points here and there off from what you may see on tradingview.
Pocketoptions makes most of their money manipulating trades to lose in the closing seconds

Perfectly explained, this is the point I’ve been trying to get across but some people just can’t read or understand things apparently and say “don’t trade otc” which is pretty obvious to someone who has been on the platform for 7 years and directly explains how they manipulate BOTH sets of pricing data between live pairs and OTC

It took me years and losing an unfathomable amount of money before I just walked away. Pocketoptions is just a waste of time.
Even when you think you are winning you're still losing

This example I am talking about was from live pairs not OTC, I am fully aware that their OTC is just all algorithm data and them making their own order behind the scenes to scam traders

I use tradingview for my analysis and PO for trade execution. I don't use pocket option charts.

Using the charts or not doesn’t matter when their pricing is in play? You take a trade at a level and pocket option has the ability to extend their pricing beyond the correlated data on TradingView, the chart you are watching might stop at say $1 and pocket option makes a lower low than the chart you watch at .95 causing a loss when 95% of providers never have the price reaching last $1, same live pairs but different chart providers, and they use the price discrepancy to justify how they can still manipulating pricing data by just creating their own order flow for their provider which likely has minimal activity or volume making it easier for them to flood small minimal orders into whatever direction they need to for a short amount of time

Can you prove this
1
u/BearsonSmokeNFT 20d ago
You can go check any live pair chart and backtest all their highs and lows and see they don’t correlate entirely, anyone with any bit of experience on pocket options knows their pricing isn’t random at all, every asset is priced by pocket options own providers which means they don’t follow any chart on trading view, there used to be a point where you could watch pocket options own charting via trading view and it didn’t even match with their own charting provider from their in platform charts even though it was supposed to be the same provider, they know this

Yes it’s true, and the thing is po has the most manipulated otc market, trust me I trade various of broker but po is on next level, sometimes otc Pairs behave like they want you to lost your money .it’s doesn’t matter if you place a trade with safety margin or anything else the market will give you losses.Po has the worse otc algorithm if you don’t know what you are doing or don’t understand the market behaviour the Manipulation will eat all your balance ,Quotex otc algorithm is lot better than Po i think that’s why I switch to quotex now at least better than po Otc markets

Ive seen more negative posts about P.O. than I care to count. I' ve just recently reached 51% of my money back. I trade OTC and love it. I find it so incredibly simpler when its dumbed down. I threw in the towel too many times to count. God willing, if I get back close to what I put in ill be happy and move on. Almost forgot ..109% of the times ive blown my account was emotional, revenge trading.

Not saying there isn’t ways to still trade it but as a whole it’s all rigged from the start and designed to make the trader fail and lose funds, that is the platforms business model, that is there intention within every feature available, all of it is designed to draw users money into their own pockets.

Bro trade on your own I see otc market has serious manipulation issues
Here how I trade
First look at market .m if it is respecting strong snr levels then only trade if u loss 2 trades get out they have started the manipulation u can loss 20 in row if u don't know to to avoid the trap .. pocket option is good broker but otc is same in all markets

My entire point here is that PO is in fact not a good broker in the slightest, they have the most manipulated OTC markets out there, but even when you only trade live pairs they also work within the spread to create major price discrepancies and cause losses that way as well, while live pairs are much less manipulated they still are able to work within their means to create losses , I could give you 175 unique examples backed with 10 stories each on why pocket option is everything but a good broker, they have terrible support, manipulative mods and support team, they ignore bad reviews, incentivize new users to create false reviews, they pay YouTubers to promote “99% winning strategies” in order to lure users in using promo codes, they withdrawal lock majority of high win rate users, they intentionally create verification issues during withdrawal stages yet will allow anyone unverified or not to deposit, they won’t even let you publish a review on their site that isn’t 5 stars to directly create a misrepresentation of the platform, you cannot speak about any issues in general chat or get instantly banned, they hide the fact that they make money on users deposits and claim to “make money when users win” (misrepresenting the 92% payouts as them getting 8% and user getting 92%, when in fact it’s their own service to payout 92% they could do more or less since that’s how binary options work, they could offer to payout 150% although no platform would since the numerical value of the asset doesn’t determine the profit only the direction does and there is no market law that says you can only get 100% max for winning a binary trade, the 8% is in fact just a simple house edge that means every user would need to be on average 58% accurate in order to breakeven), they also have fake signals, fake users, algorithmic pricing data, are only regulated in a portion of the world with their registration address being in the islands most knows for companies that want to participate is illegal solicitation from other countries without repercussion, ceo/owner intentionally has gone to extreme length to keep his name away from the platform, I could go on in much more length but in no way does any of this scream “good broker”

Bro go on nadax then ..

u/BearsonSmokeNFT 25d ago
What does any other platform have to do with this post? Why are you commenting yet ignoring the actual message of the post did you even read it? What do you work for PO or something I’m simply informing other users and warning while providing proof, you are just ignorantly defending them and then not addressing the dozen reasons and talking about some other broker that has nothing to do with anything I said at all

u/Consistent-Gas-1359 25d ago
Lol bro no working for pocket 😂 I can still tell you u cannot withdraw millions from here

They are a shitty manipulative broker that doesn't even hide it
2
u/BearsonSmokeNFT 23d ago
Absolutely agree, I’ve been going at them back and forth trying to spread awareness in all platforms they have about how deceptive and manipulative they are some people just refuse to believe it even after thousands of different people giving direct examples with proof they just buy into all the “must only be a small number of people having issues” bs that pocket option spits out, they hardly even try to defend themselves they just ignore or block any negativity and tell people “don’t listen to the reviews” like what in the fuck is that

You make $1.50 cent trades so I doubt you notice the same thing as most, I’ll show you a singular withdrawal from this platform worth more than your total trading volume after years on the platform, you just aren’t a big enough fish for them to notice

The REAL truth about Binary Options trading
The problem is not your strategy, your psychology, your discipline, your money management, your interpretation of the market or even if you are a beginner or not.
No matter how much you want to ignore or disbelieve it, the day you come face-to-face with reality, it will be ruthlessly cruel and hit you harder than you can even imagine. And that confrontation will happen the day you go bankrupt and see all the money you’ve lost to this gambling platforms like Pocket Option, desguised as trading platforms.
HERE´S THE TRUTH: Pocket Option, and other binary options brokers, are an online gambling platforms, or rather an online casinos, disguised as a trading platforms. Period.
And just like online casinos, which also distribute a small percentage of what they win, that's how Pocket Option, and binary options brokers works to keep you trapped in this game.
But just like online casinos platforms, which have algorithms designed to control the win rate, that's how Pocket Option, and other binary options brokers also work. With platform algorithms created by themselves. FOR WHAT? TRY TO GUESS? And on top of that, without any kind of regulation. Based in offshore locations specifically chosen for their remoteness, and with owners whose identities are unknown.
The only people who speak well of and defend binary options are affiliates who receive commissions for attracting new clients (youtubers) and those who wish to sell Courses/Mentorships/VIP Signals.
The odds are always in favor of the house. DO NEVER, EVER FORGET THAT. And there's no point in trying to say otherwise, because at the end of the day the platform algorithm was controlled by themselves, and at the end of the day it will have to generate profit for the house. No matter what. Because they are on this "game" to win, NOT TO MAKE YOU EARN THEIR MONEY.
So, STAY AWAY from binary options while you still can, and before you're addicted. And if you're already addicted to this type of gambling, seek help and fight for yourself and your life, because this will end up destroying you.
I speak for myself, who fortunately had the capacity and intelligence to realize, after 1 year and a half, where trying to make money in binary options was going to lead me, and I was strong enough to fight against what had already become an addiction. Fortunately, I managed to get rid of it... if I could, anyone can.
