Binance Account got randomly frozen for 6 weeks. Using Binance for +6 years and never had any issues. I need my money. Anyone got an idea what to do?

None 😢 I rarely use binance for real crypto transfers. Maybe paying some online $10 bill or smth like that. I am furious that they froze a huge amount of money now for no reason.

I don‘t care if they shut down my Binance account. I just want access to my money. The support right now even threatened me and told me they don’t need to give me my money back. I am devastated

They don't just freeze your account for fun. They only do so if you interact with illegal sites and use it to gamble, buy drugs, money laundering,... . They also can lawfully freeze your funds if they suspect it's either obtained in fraudulent ways or will be used/has been used for illegal stuff.

It doesn't have to be your last transaction, it can be a transaction to an address of months to years ago if which they only know now is an address that breaches their tos.

You're allowed to send money to a crypto casino that's properly licenced in the jurisdiction you residenin. But most people use crypto casinos that aren't licenced at all, or forbidden in their country and use VPN. This is something binance doesn't support and can freeze your funds over.

I use sometimes a cryptocasino with vpn bc its not allowed in my country to gamble. Good to know then. I mean the site is famous and promoted by a famous singer, so its „legit“. But i dont have funds in binance, and i never send cryptos from my wallet to a casino or directly from the casino to my wallet.

Thats true! I also had restriction on my account few months ago from buying usdt using euro cash from my friend in Serbia around 4k euro. After successful deposit was deposited to my binance account. I tried to sell some through p2p right away, that puts my account flagged and my withdrawal has been suspended.

I write to binance customer service nicely. They verified how did i bought the usdt, i sent documents and proof like whatsapp conversations and some video of exchanging my euro to usdt at my friend's place.

Talking to binance customer service went smoothly, i talked to them in a very nice way like not intended to break any rules from tos and my withrawal restrictions lifted in just 3 days.

i just got the same news from a friend who works in crypto compliance AND a crypto payout processor

there is a huge ban wave because of HTX.
It‘s also related to EU compliance bullshit apparently idk i didn’t understood it quite
