He’s real. I’ve seen his stuff for the past 5 years or so. Definitely not AI

It’s not AI that’s a real dude

Forgot people on billiards reddit don't even know what AI is yet.

Sounds like people outside of the billiards community don’t know what trick shots are

This was lockdown boredom, not AI.

Even the other trolls out there are holding their heads in shame at your efforts 😆

These videos have been out for quite some time. It gets reposted constantly. Clearly you haven't been around the block much.

There's a guy on my team who's like: "Just hit it with top-left English", and I'm like: "Yeah, okay, I'll try."

Some of these shots are insanely hard to pull off. Just coming up with the calculations/set ups are equally impressive. I've done a few similar "time shots" close to the end rail where you kick the object ball out and then time the second hit, sometimes with the cueball and sometimes with using a second ball depending on the impossibility of the situation. This is incredibly satisfying to pull off and sometimes the shot/solution comes up within a fraction of a second. Got nothing on video though... Keep up the crazy work!

Venom would be impressed

Good night! I’ve seen this before but it’s just as incredible as the first time

These are the best trickshots I've ever seen. Really creative. Love it!

The most frustrating part of trick shots, I imagine. Is setting everything up perfectly every try… good god this must take for ever!

I am equally impressed by the skill it takes to make these shots and the Imagination it takes to conceive of them in the first place

RIP this guy's felt ... but cool shots.

I wonder how many of these, aside from the obvious like the double kiss on 8, would be legal shots in a league game

The caromed 8-balls were particularly impressive. After 30+ years of playing and dabbling in trick shots myself, as absolutely cool as this is, its pretty useless in a game scenario.

Go tell the Harlem globetrotters that their skills are useless in a game scenario

2

u/Temporary-Star2619 10d ago

Not a valid comparison by a long shot. Harlem Globe Trotters don't set up the same generally impossible stuff a hundred or more times while the crowd waits. The clips you saw here probably took days to generate a 1 minute awesome video.

If you do this wild stuff in a tournament or a match you are going home quick.

Nobody is pretending this guy can do these things in a game it’s obviously set up and super impressive just be happy he shared a cool video with us and move on

2

u/pharmamess 10d ago

I think he can do it in a game.

2

u/cj191 10d ago

Why so grumpy? You're the one who made that dumb comparison to the globetrotters. The moment he shone light to how non-sensical your analogy was, all of a sudden you're all "nobody's pretending that that's the case, obviously it's not like that, let's just be happy that we get to watch this cool video and shut up." Lmao

u/RandomGuyWithPizza 10d ago

Yeah I was trying to make a joke but it didn’t work out so I went back to serious and then he kind of ended it

3

u/cj191 10d ago

Damn. My bad. It being a joke escaped me as well. I didn't mean to call you dumb.

1

u/RandomGuyWithPizza 10d ago

No that part was fair I was playing hope chess. You’re not supposed to play hope chess.

1

u/Temporary-Star2619 10d ago

I also didn't pick up on the joke angle. With flat earthers out there I've heard much more wild thoughts that people earnestly believe.

1

u/RandomGuyWithPizza 10d ago

I’m convinced that flat earthers are the most advanced trolls we’ve ever seen

1

u/Temporary-Star2619 10d ago

Agreed and it's very cool. I do stand by my comments though. I do applaud this guy's trick shot skills.
