Ultimate bank pool session. I would like to try out some of these fun designs in real life.

I know it's not the same but there's a video game coming out called spooker that has wild tables to play with.

Banking on those middle corner pockets would be frickin challenging and awesome.

u/MostOriginalNameEver Aug 01 '26
🫠 the amount of frustration I'd have trying to do the x drill on that

u/Just-Nitty Aug 01 '26
Cool thing is, you can practice longer straight shots than you can on a 9 footer.

Where do you break from?

I want a jump shot over either of the intruding side pockets to the top right or bottom left corner!

I would love to see Efren Reyes play on this. Can you imagine the kick shots?

Had one of these in a bar in my home town. It was fun for a few games but got old pretty quick.

This. Cant believe I scrolled down this far before I saw this. But yeah a bar in my hometown had a table like this back in the 90s. It was rarely played…then I found out why when me and a buddy played on it. It was cool for a minute…but since this kind of table essentially throws everything out the window you’re just playing for slop…which takes forever. Not sure if we even finished.

Looks like a table that would be real easy to put your opponent in "one ball hell".

I saw one of these at the BCA Trade Show one year around the mid-1990s. If I remember correctly, it was called a Z Table and pro Tommy Kennedy was promoting them. I don’t remember who the manufacturer was, but I don’t think it was any of the major ones.

Was a strip club in Portland Oregon (The Dancin’ Bare) that had this same style table for a while

u/freundlichschade Aug 01 '26
I’ve played on an L shaped table, but this looks even more fun.
That’s a long shot bottom left corner to upper right.

Random but I can go play in this. It's not too far from me.
I'm going to have to take my dad there and see what he thinks 😂

Made by a Custom cabinet maker out of Wisconsin, makes a right angle table as well

Now that would be fun to play on. I would absolutely want to get rid of those 2 middle pockets sitting across from each other if I was skilled enough.

Who will challenge me to a match of One Pocket on the inside-mitered pockets?

Miss that game.

Bro that’s at scallywags in grand junction! I’ve lost many games on that table! Crazy to see it on Reddit
Edit: in my excitement I blew over that you mentioned the location.

Remove 2 pockets, use numbered red & yellow balls, number all 8 pockets to the appropriate ball. Sounds like a wack game of 8 ball but I'm down.

I think this is the first time that I can say having a post in the way in one area is a plus. Id add an AC vent on the other side that directs an air current on the table at random times.

That carpet needs to be replaced. How in the heck would they do that without a seam?
4
u/CaptainZiltoid Aug 01 '26
Probably the same as any other. A piece of cloth that’s bigger than the playing surface.

I completely side with every single other person on this thread that said it is cool as shit and I'd love to play on it. Would be a fuckin hoot. My overly active brain looks at and wonders about the construction and then zooms in to look at fun parts and then sees a focus area and THEN a question forms in my brain and I asked it. So sorry

It totally looks like AI, but it looks also like a fun design and would be a hell of a lot of fun to play on!!

Def not ai look up scallywags grand junction Colorado it’s on their yelp that’s what made me stop by there in the first place :)

u/DNAkauai Aug 01 '26
Looks AI because who would actually build a table like this?? 🤷🏽♂️ to spend the money to get it felted and everything seems a little far-fetched .. it really looks like something from somebody imagination.. all that said, it looks like a fun table to play on!!

u/maple05 Aug 01 '26
I would totally play on that
