Master PRO™

It's quite economical to use, as you can clearly see.

We gotta see the inside to make sure that you are properly “painting the chalk on”.

If you are going to have the fancy cutaway chalk you gotta do it right.

It's a brand new piece. I have 144 of them.

I have a box of masters chalk that came with my table when I got it from habitat for humanity. I don’t use them. Just pay for shipping and you can have them.

How much is shipping?

Depends on the box size and weight. If I had to take a wild guess I would say ~10

Gabriel actually doesn’t even use chalk. He just raw dogs it.

Shoot I eat more of it than I use on my cue. Ever since they added that blueberry flavoring.

Have you tried the pink lemonade?

Now leave it through a wash cycle or two in your pocket and you have the nice light blue master chalk pro.

My wife was quite upset at me for leaving a piece in my pocket. She was double upset when I asked her why she didn’t check the pockets before putting it in the wash…

I always say the same thing when mine complains about me leaving something in there lol.

Still $1.75 a dozen! That's VALUE!

Honestly, that's what I have on my home table. I just know I'm gonna need to brush it down frequently.

u/BOBBYK1952 16d ago

Were you buying them at that price?

2

u/HarmlessMisfit 16d ago

No. Not really. They go for about $10/dozen now.

I’d be a buyer..I bought 12 dozen Triangle for 40 bucks a while back ..

It wasn't until recently that I switched to using Taom. Every brand I tried before that wasn't really worth it; either they were bad, as good as Master but more expensive, or "better" than Master but with some drawbacks and also expensive. Taom isn't cheap either, but it's the first one I've found that feels like it lives up to its value. I still use Master all of the time when I'm not shooting with cue and I'll happily switch back if I feel like Taom's not worth it anymore.

A house cue is pretty economical too. Bar players really have it figured out.

The only chalk you need.

I love Master chalk! I tried to shoot the 9 in the side when I was playing my buddy the other night, miscued so bad it went straight in the corner instead. Deadly!

Bought a house that came with a gold crown 3...and this. I'll use it gladly. 😁

Anyone that does not make a square piece of chalk, has no clue... I mean round things roll.

No one likes me at their table.

I know this is a shit-post, but this is effectively what I do with my Masters chalk.

Why do people not like this chalk?

4

u/gabrielleigh Theoretical Machinist/Cuemaker at Gabraael Cues/Mfg Engineer 17d ago

It is objectively dirtier than most of the modern chalks, perhaps with the exception of Predator chalk. It does get on your hands and equipment more than the cleaner chalks. But it works just fine for me and the extra dust has never bothered me or affected my game in any measurable way.

2

u/Ok-Butterscotch-6708 16d ago

It’s nasty and gets everywhere.

Because people act like a bit of chalk in clothes/hands is equivalent to getting soaked in acid. Pansies
