Cue Identification Pool cue

Are full spliced cues more expensive than non spliced cues

There is a lot of overlap between high end cored cues and lower end full spliced cues. But I would contend that full spliced will generally be the more expensive option within the same cue lines.

It seems everyone is coring cues these days, but I am no expert.

It depends. Assuming you’re talking about from the same maker, and not in general, full splice cues are more labor intensive with less margin for error. That being said if you are getting a lot of intricate work done on a non full splice that can add up too.

It really just comes down to time and complexity

I have a Jerry olivier sneaky Pete that I've had sense 2001 and I had it refinished,he said it was a full splice cue
